I have traveled extensively over the past 50 years to more than 65 countries. On some trips I carried a sketch pad and did pen and ink drawings of the more exotic sights. As the years passed paintings reflecting images from some of those trips crept into my work on an irregular basis. However, in the past two years I decided to purposefully create paintings that allowed me to relive images and experiences that will always stay with me. In the last year, in particular, I focused on trips to Israel, Abu Dhabi, India and Myanmar (Burma). “Travelogue” is the accumulation of these travel-inspired paintings.
