Robert Peckar is an oil painter living in Boca Raton, Florida. He started painting in 1977 when he studied painting with artist Harvey Dash in Nyack, New York. He is also an attorney, having founded an international construction law practice in 1978. While practicing law his “doodles” on legal pads evolved into the studies for his paintings. Those paintings reflected a “geometric” or architectural perception of objects and people, likely a response to his world of buildings and engineering. Since moving to Florida, Bob’s paintings reflect his passion for the beautiful shapes and colors of the fauna and animal life of southern Florida.
